THAI students are instructed in sanitary practices, prevention of disease, and universal precautions, as related to the scope of practice of massage therapy and bodywork. Students learn how to maintain personal physical and mental health through the integration of Western and Asian wellness skills into their daily lives. These techniques include centering, meditation, yoga, Qigong, stretching, and breathing.
