At Texas Healing Arts Institute Massage School, located in the heart of Austin, we provide professional massage therapy training with a knowledgeable, compassionate, personalized touch. Our exceptional faculty is dedicated to providing pragmatic and energetic instruction to individuals pursuing their education in the healing arts of massage and bodywork. Small classes afford us the opportunity to make a commitment to a superior education for each student by allowing us to give individualized attention to each student's needs. The faculty and staff at THAI massage school are committed to the success of our students and to providing the utmost support for their quality education in therapeutic massage therapy.

  • The entire faculty at THAI massage school, Austin is made up of practicing body workers. The instructors are knowledgeable, caring, and have senses of humor that make learning an enjoyable experience.
  • The massage technique instructors all studied at THAI. They are all practicing therapists and experienced instructors.
  • Students are not required to learn a set massage routine. Instead, students are taught the skills to design and adapt massages that fit the individual bodywork needs of their clients.
  • All of our classes (hands-on classes as well as lecture classes) are small so that students are able to receive plenty of personalized attention and feedback from their instructors. Generally we close enrollment for a class around 16 students. For classes with a high demand, we manintain our teacher to student ratio is maintained at 1:20 (one instructor to twenty students) in order to provide our students with attentive guidance and instruction.
  • The program curriculum was developed by our directors, both of whom have PhD's and have taught extensively at the university level.
  • Our massage school promotes a strong sense of community among the students, faculty, and staff. THAI's massage school directors and teachers listen to feedback from students to enhance the curriculum and improve instruction.
  • Our instructors are proud of their lifelong commitments to learning. They all continue their personal education with advanced training in a variety of bodywork and movement modalities.
